Two ways to price work: pick a premade product from your catalogue, or build a custom line for a one-off that is not in the catalogue. This explains when to reach for each so quoting stays fast without boxing you in.

- A one-off line built from ingredients by hand. Priced with the same costs and markups, but slower and only as consistent as the person building it.

- The bridge: describe a custom job you keep doing and it becomes a product.
Step by step

For work you do regularly, use a product — under Add a line on the quote, pick it, set the size, quantity and choices, press Calculate, done.

For something unusual or brand new, press + Custom item and add its materials, labour and machine time by hand.

If a custom line becomes a repeat job, turn it into a product — Talk to build can do that from a description — so next time it is one pick.
